This year, she got me a snow shovel. I got her a gift card for a coffee shop with $0.50 on it. Had to talk to the owner to get one that small.
Love. I bet you two are really happy. Because a gift card like that took effort and was thoughtful in a funny way. Love. Love. Love.

He tried to say we shouldn't give each other gifts this year and we should use the money for our bathroom remodel. Uh, no. We usually give each other $30-50 gifts and that's not going to put a dent in the bathroom remodel. I did buy some things for myself that I will wrap and put under the tree, but I really want him to put in at least a little effort!
Your husband could be me- I told mine no gifts this year b/c finishing our bathroom will be our gift. I do know he got me some earrings as a stocking stuffer though.
This is us. I find holidays so much less stressful this way. We buy for the kids and that’s it.
