Joy’s right. This event has become totally grotesque

That looked more hot pink/almost magenta on my tv last night, but here the color matching is much better. I like it!

I want to love it but I don’t understand the fitting on the bodice where the boobs are pushed down and smashed up like she’s getting a mammogram. That’s a very popular look lately so I guess it’s intentional, but I don’t get it.

I don't like that either- it looks like it doesn't fit, but surely it must be intentional?

It isn’t. Angela Bassett is not sacred to me, she was never owed an Oscar, and per her uzh, she’s looking big and having overspill in a corset with a post-Meno skin flap escaping. She’d have looked way better in a looser gown, with her hair pinned back like the woman in the referenced painting.

Beyoncé is an absolute mess. You can see her shape wear and the pooch. The dress looks like it’s unusually heavy even for costume. I wish she’d done something else, she is a gorgeous woman.

They're all trying too hard after a certain age, to stay relevant and in the news. The more outrageous, the more news coverage.

Search Jack.Savoie on TikTok or Insta and watch his ratings because he also has done the research as to what works of art inspired a lot of them. Including the Madonna inspiration which was really interesting.

He’s fug AF and no one needs to mod anyone here. And I got the reference without aid of TikTok. I find him charmless and unappealing.

A printed Seurat-suit is not interesting to me. A similar 2D look- Chase Infiniti - was gorgeous AFAIC. My favorite male star there was Bad Bunny.

DP here and I hate Chase's dress, but loved his suit. Isn't it nice that we can have different tastes?

Yeah, and I’m not the person who would post “only talk about what I want.” Go carp at your sister in vapidity. And get some taste.

The dress is fine, but the pink blush makes her look as if she has a skin condition. It could have been applied so much better! Missed opportunity.

She's lost nothing, she looks great.

I like Nicole Kidman's face looking normal, it is okay to age.

She looks good. She must be so happy that she got rid of her weird husband.

He moved out, and like the first husband, she was surprised he wanted out of the relationship. He got rid of her. She's fine, but no need to rewrite the history that has been reported by multiple sources.

So she was left by a weirdo scientologist and a mostly recovering addict? I don't think she's the problem here.

She is the common denominator. She chose the scientologist and recovering addict. She doesn't make good relationship choices, and then they leave her. Not good. She should be the one leaving and walking out that door, so that they cannot hurt her anymore. Instead, they leave, and she is hurt. Who will she turn to now that Keith is gone. She turned to Keith to get over the hurt from Tom leaving her. Hopefully, she will learn to embrace her singleness.

Neither of her husbands look physically or mentally strong. She should pick something different.

It seems more about money than fashion and style. They only invite people who inherited, married befriended or manipulated money.

There's always a nekked lady.

I actually think this would have worked better if they were eithet more daring with it or instead shaded the bodice differently. It gives the suggestion of exposure but isn't exposed at all. The nipples on the bodice remind me of nipples on the batsuit.

What are they trying to convey with this?

I know they think they are being witty but it’s not well executed and also isn’t that witty a comment anyway.

Also, I am irritated by Sarah Paulson with her dollar bill. If she wanted to protest the stupid Bezoses, fine, stay home. Or do something really bold like the tax the rich dress. This is like she wants to go to the fancy party but also pretend like she’s a social progressive.

After all the talk about boycotting due to the Bezos, did anyone actually decline the invite?

Mark Ruffalo, Bella Hadid, Taraji P Henson, Cara Delevigne (sic), Olivia Rodrigo, Mayor Mamdani, Zendaya, Timothy Chalamlet, to name a few

She isn't but sure has a faulty picker.

Why does she never change her hair? And wear those glasses?
Is there a medical reason?

It's so bizarre.

This^. Someone who doesn't have guts to actually try different styles and always looks the same, shouldn't be editing Vogue.

They never made a very convincing couple. I’m surprised it lasted so long. And now their daughters are turning on him.

Really?
