By the way, where is Congress in all of this check writing?

I agree. And he has a point that America is much better off at the moment than most would admit. The press uniformly seems to virulently hate President Trump without regard to any fact or reason.
You are delusional. I’m glad that you are fine, but many Americans are not. In case you haven’t heard, health care costs are about to double for many. Also, there are no jobs. This isn’t all Trump’s fault, but the job market is terrible. Then we have ICE racially profiling on streets across our country, blowing up boats in the Caribbean (while pardoning convicted cocaine drug pin) and U.S. farmers getting the shaft while Argentina gets a sweet bailout. Also, there is the issue of our petulant “president” who uses his office to grift to the tune of millions while spending the rest of his important time tweeting about all his grievances and hurling insults. Yeah, things are peachy!

But now that MAGA is in control, the GOP and the networks have decided that 20 minutes of drugged up word vomit is where we are at when it comes to a national address. It's like this country has been taken over by a mafia that snorts their own supply - and we have to witness it.
I’m so glad I didn’t tune in. lol.
Thank you for this statement.
