There is no reason for democrats to support funding the BBB which they had no hand in crafting. They also have no reason to authorize spending that terrorizes blue cities and takes money from projects in blue states but not red ones. We are one country. Since the GOP decided to go it alone in the spring, then counting on democratic support now is a fool's errand.
