After a few weeks of games a few things are apparent:
1) why is TSJ even in this league? Most RL and Aspire teams could beat them
2) who had the blackmail photos that convinced someone to give NVA/Loudon two GA teams? The Loudon teams are low table across almost every age group.
3) Charlotte Independence (who played ECNL last year) is strongest of the NC teams and will compete for top in some age groups
I really don't get TSJ (or pipeline for girls ecnl).

I can't see TSJ lasting too many more years at they rate they are going. However, I don't know who would take their place.
NVA is essentially Loudoun since it's no longer a partnership with other clubs. Loudoun being part of GA is probably not needed and the current Loudoun team should probably be Aspire. Wouldn't be surprised that if adjustments aren't made for next year once Arlignton and another club join GA to replace TSJ and Loudoun.
It sounds like:
Current NVA GA will be LS GA.
Current LS GA will be LS Aspire.
Current LS Aspire will be.. no GA league..
Whoa, current LS Aspire parents are going to be so upset!

Yep this, and add to the fact this was not disclosed to parents prior to the start of the season.
So how did you think it worked? That the travel fairy paid? If this was a surprise to you, you aren’t paying attention. It’s true of every high level club. That said, it is true that when the club charters the bus, parents don’t have to travel with the team, so you could avoid that cost.
If the club knows they will be chartering vehicles ahead of the season, which they should since they know there is long distance travel involved, it should be made known ahead of time. After all, Alexandria is "high level." The travel didn't come as a surprise to the club.
Don’t worry about it - it’s not your club, clearly. The parents and the kids love it. Let’s get back to GA discussion.
