I agree with all this, except if they had cast Paul Rudd, as epic as that would’ve been, the target audience of women is obsessed with Paul Rudd, and I don’t think that we would buy that they would be having marital problems and that she wouldn’t be doing anything but jumping his bones every chance she got.

Only slightly kidding, but he’s almost too appealing for this role and I thought Will forte did a good job of being believably appealing and frustrating.

I will say, I am really pissed that Nick did not have to deal with his choices. I would have loved to see them flash forward a year or two when all the adventures have stopped and Ginny is deep into being a new mom and all that entails. Realistically, she probably would’ve ended up closer to Ann after she and Nick separated. Nick has proven he has no interest in being in the trenches.

OK, maybe not Paul Rudd. He would have probably been more of a star than a supporting character lol.

Maybe Greg Kinnear. He was Tina's love interest in baby mama and they seemed to have chemistry.

While Ginny was a surprisingly likeable character and level-headed, a baby without a plan is not, so I can't say I support that about Ginny.

I don't think integrating Ginny into their friend group would be good at all. I hope they don't do that.

+1 Paul Rudd would have been too appealing in that role. That said, I thought Will forte was the weakest character - either the script or casting.
