The only thing that will rile up most privileged Americans will be when they come after your SSRIs.

Well they’re not coming for the Jews this time, not yet. Just the libs, and the federal workers, and the immigrants, and the trans kids, and the disabled. And to some extent the Muslims.
Not the same at all. This time the descendants of some survivors are helping out (Steven Miller). Actually, some of the Jews helped then, too, and not entirely under duress.
Fascism doesn’t follow the same exact pattern every time. It looked a little different in Italy. It’s very adaptable to local populations.
They weren't implying that anyone is "coming for the Jews." Are you usually this pedantic?
NP they literally said this is "insulting to victims of the Holocaust". What do you think they were talking about?
That being fired from a mediocre federal job cannot be compared to being literally put and gassed to death in a concentration camp?
Read a book and come back when you’re ready to debate intelligently. The fact that you are blaming trans kids for your personal problems is step 1 in the fascist playbook.
You guys are being hysterical. Nobody even uses pronouns in Europe. None of that garbage exists there. Somehow you guys are fantasizing about that place?

So you don’t have to go back to Russia, comrade?

Far from the troubles of the US and Europe (but with its own anxiety over China). Skills shortages. Universities accept lot of international students. More than 100,000 Americans already live in Australia. On the negative side, high COL and tough housing market.
My European family live in the U.S. and Australia. Not sure how you think Australia is open to immigrants. The illegals are shipped off to an island with well-documented abuse and the legal are not treated very well. We are white so fared much better but Australia is well-known for being racist.
Legal immigrants aren’t treated very well??!! How do you figure that?
So, I’ve actually spent a significant amount of time there and can base my opinion on more than just random internet searches that support a random assumption. Like I said, I have family there. Legal immigrants. And yes, they are not treated well. I bet you’ve never even heard the term “wog” before. Our country sucks for sure but to think that other countries aren’t bigoted is a fairy tale. I bet you think that any country will want you just because you are American and that you won’t need to learn a new language and conform to a new culture. White Americans are delusional. I’m white btw but hold dual citizenship, have lived abroad and know the reality. Yes, it is better in some countries but nobody is falling over themselves to be graced with people who facked up their own country.

This is absolutely not true. Australians are some of the most racist people I’ve ever encountered. I don’t know how many times I’ve had the displeasure of hearing them rant about how a certain demographic ruined their country.

Don't let the 'liberal' mindset fool you.
Culturally, it's very xenophobic even if you speak the local language. People are racist and closed-minded here, especially towards foreigners. Integration is hard.
Yes, some places are safer, but a lot of these countries have real issues too.
This +100 - grass isn't always greener on the other side.
Yes. In much of Europe, they really do not like Americans.
This is true and is only getting worse.
Now if you’re an American and a POC then you will be fine in most of Western Europe.
WHAT? This is a joke, right?
Seriously, Europe is ultra racist and generally intolerant of anything but the Christian white norm. I feel like Americans just have no idea.
Europeans believe the same about Americans.
