What? Do you not get how ironic this sounds? Truly sovereign countries don't need to be "given" their sovereignty. They enforce it. The fact of the matter is that Ukraine is unable to take it sovereignty back unassisted. As such, it is not a fully sovereign state, it is a vassal to those that fund and arm it.

It's kind of hard to run a free and fair election in a country that's under invasion and facing all sorts of intelligence/cyber threats. That's not even mentioning the fact that Ukraine has lost about 1/5 of it's territory and millions of voters are either dead, on the front lines, or refugees in other countries.

You are not understanding. Republicans are abandoning the entire post WW II security system - the very same structure that enabled the US to become the most powerful nation in the world.
