Clubs that previously had NAL and MLSN are adding MLSN2 as tier two. That makes NAL tier three. There are some weaker clubs that were just given NAL and MLSN2 pathways and at those clubs NAL may be top or 2 may be top but that’s only because they don’t have the highest tier available to them yet. The correct order is still. MLSN, MLSN2, NAL. ECNL is below those and that places ECRL at the bottom and EDP below it still with MSI and SAM below those and whatever the rec and travel options are in VA.
You don’t like it? Ya can’t change it.
At some clubs NAL is top but in reality it is third.
A ton of new clubs got NAL and MLSN2 but that’s only because ECNL has made it too high of a barrier to entry and MLSN is obsessed with obliterating them and this is how they’re going to do .
You don’t like it? You still can’t change it!!!

Lie

Read any release about the rollout and administration of MLS Next 2

NAL is helping to administrate MLSN2 but as far as I can tell, NAL will still exist separately because they do have girls divisions in NAL.

To be fair, that is the new structure. Some of the teams, Fox for example, were NAL last season and will be mlsn2 this season.

ECNL has its regional league, and there are some legit mid teams in there. Y’all are out there accusing us of caring more about the letters in the alphabet soup that sounds like that’s what you’re doing MLS technically has three tiers now – MLSN, MLSN2, and NAL!

NAL is now MLS Next 2

Hopefully. Especially WV. Should also include Achilles as well.

I think they were too busy at MLSNext Cup playoffs to be considered.

Normal human behavior - they are scared and confused by new things so they lash out.

This sums it up well.

Pure money grab. And maybe then after a year or two (if MLSN is still around). You get to have tier 1 and your kids and parents spend even more of their time and money to play a single match that is almost equally meaningless. Too much travel time and money could be spent on real development instead.
