This is merely one more hiatus among the many which have preceded it, the periods of quiet in between the seeming perpetual cycle of Palestinian violence followed by Israeli retaliation until the aggressors are eliminated. Then the cycle repeats.
As long as the Palestinians want to keep re-fighting the Arab-Israeli War of 1948 instead of accepting the status quo, this won't stop.
