The military needs to do a better job when people separate from service of both psychologically testing them and making sure they are aware of all the benefits they may be available. Military life is hard on marriage and can mean you pass up other career activities . It put a huge hole in our pockets every time we lived separately (unavoidably). I am not in any way defending this guys horrific actions, but I've seen the transition out process and it's a rubber stamp.

But the tool they are using to manipulate people to commit acts of terrorism—including Americans like the this guy born and raised in the USA who murdered innocent people in NoLA—is religion…Islamic extremism specifically.
