(this is a follow-on message to my previous one about dating for 18-28 yr olds males).

I am a 62-yr old left-leaning male.

I was struck recently when leaders from three top-10 schools were called to address congress about antisemitism on campus. All 3 college presidents were female. Have females really become THAT successful so they deserve to lead MIT, Harvard, and U-Penn all AT THE SAME TIME? Really? All THREE schools?

This crap is not new. I have been the victim in the past of "reverse discrimination" in the past, when jobs were reserved for "vagina-holders only" when I graduated with a PhD in Engineering and the job market was extremely tight. My female office mate attended a super computing conference, didn't have a paper, didn't have any qualifications, and was invited to interview for a professorship at a school - sight unseen - without even asking! The affirmative action people were chasing women that hard!

We all saw another women interview at our university and she gave a terrible talk and had a terrible thesis ("but she's female and from a higher ranked school so it matters not!") The reverse discrimination was disgusting to females and males alike, and this was way back in the 1980s, no need for more of this crap in the 2010s or 2020s.

One reason may be because they don’t want to be fighting shoulder to shoulder in high risk situations like combat with men who think they shouldn’t be there and in the kitchen instead.

Women are less capable of fighting in combat. They can't carry the bigger loads. They are far more likely to get injured during combat and rucking between operating areas. They also suffer more from the stress of combat. You'd have to an ideologue to think it's a good idea to put woman into combat given all the data.

Quick story: Years ago, the Army asked its soldiers how the physical fitness test should be changed to better measure combat readiness. Pull-ups were resoundingly recommended. Do you know why pull-ups were never added? Because they found that women are so physically weak that they couldn't train their way to doing even 3, so they couldn't create a meaningful line to measure. I could go on about the jokes about the women who are "Ranger-qualified." For your purposes, know that they didn't actually pass the real standards, they were passed so as to make silly feminists happy by cheapening the credential.

You keep saying that without any data to back it up. I’m a feminist who believes any future draft should include women as well as men. Put people in positions they qualify for. What’s so hard about that? Unfortunately conservatives don’t want that and will never agree to drafting women.

I think making every citizen do some kind of service for a year or two is a great idea. Whether military or something else.

Men take more dumb risks, more likely to abuse their bodies with drugs/alcohol/bad food/tobacco, more likely to own guns and be a victim of gun violence, and are less likely to see a doctor regularly. Of course they have a much shorter life span; men make so many worse choices for themselves compared to women.

I have two young boys. My biggest worry is that they will make impulsive dumb choices while young that ruins their future.
