agreed but rankings really not that helpful or accurate really anyway.

also claremonte mckenna has a history for "gaming" its rankings and trying to give veneer of prestige. like just 7 years ago, they were faking SAT scores for enrolled students to climb up the USNWR.

now they are gaming yield and desirability by filling over 2/3 of class in ED rounds. and few even submit SAT so they just come in with inflated gpas and athletics. it's nowhere near as impressive as its sisters pomona or harvey mudd tbh.
