I’m not sure Ben Affleck loves Jennifer Garner. Here’s what he said about being married to her:
"I'd probably still be drinking. It's part of why I started drinking … because I was trapped," the Argo director admitted to Howard Stern of feeling unhappy in his marriage to Garner, 49. "I was like 'I can't leave 'cause of my kids, but I'm not happy, what do I do?' What I did was drink a bottle of scotch and fall asleep on the couch, which turned out not to be the solution."
I think he has just learned over time that he can be very disrespectful of Jennifer Garner and she takes it.
I don't think that is disrespectful. He was talking about himself. He was feeling trapped in an unhappy marriage. There are hundreds of posts and relationships where that happens. He didn't want to leave because of the kid and so drank to cope. He doesn't say anything about her at all.

JG seemed very much blindsided then humiliated by the dissolution of her marriage amid cheating and bellyaching from her husband and the father of her children. This wasn't some case of realizing we're not soulmates so yeah, let's call this one over from her side.
I disagree. She was not blindsided. There were tons of reports that she would go babysit him on various sets during their marriage because he has a habit of cheating.
Maybe she was shocked when the marriage ended, but she knew about the drinking, gambling, cheating.

If that was true, why did they proceed to have three kids? If she trapped him, why not stop at one? I can’t imagine any celebrity accidentally staying married for a decade and having that many kids.
It takes two tango. She didn't trap him. I said in my OC that they were trying to make it working. Meaning they were actively putting in the effort regardless of their incompatibility. Idk where you got the whole accidentally staying marrying idea from.

He was not meeting her new boyfriend. She has dated him for almost 6 years. If you're talking about those paparazzi photos with Ben and Jen's boyfriend, it was pretty obvious they knew each other. I'm sure they have met years ago.

Yes, she was from WV. Not unlikely that people from her area moved to DC.
My friend in Michigan lived down the street from Katie Holmes' sister. So Katie and Suri were seen around the neighborhood a few times.
