My analysis is that she's a hot mess, but she's really, really pretty.

Maybe she felt this "erased" that PR fiasco, like a pp mentioned. I believe she went into the marriage because of love primarily but this was a PR win x10 at the time.

And really, screw Ben Affleck. Jennifer Lopez has never been anyone but Jennifer Lopez. If Ben thought she would be different OR that he was somehow now able to live with her lifestyle then bailed because he wants yet another do over, she's better off alone.

She strikes me as incredibly immature. I knew things would not recover when there were reports she was jealous over his friendship with Jen G. She’s the mother of his kids and played a HUGE the role in his recovery even well after the marriage was over.

That didn’t bode well. Of course it’s extremely healthy and important that he maintain a friendship with her! Any mature adult would get that and even see it as a benefit since it’s so good for his kids and his mental health. Sheesh.

I do feel bad for her. I think he will leave the marriage relatively unscathed, and I think she will get skewered. It’s just sad all around. Hopefully this doesn’t plunge him into drinking with 22 year old randos like the phase he went through after the Jen garner divorce.

Since this is the analyze J Lo thread, my analysis is this:

If nothing else, J Lo doesn’t take no for an answer in her professional and personal life. She doesnt compromise. In a world where women are told to put everyone else first, there’s J Lo. She doesn’t prioritize a man’s needs above her own and possibly her kids needs above her own . This probably makes her a bad partner and parent but my guess is her mother was just as selfish and domineering and she inherited that.

She’s an odd mixture of feminism and anti feminism. If there was a feminine picture to feminism, it would be her

This is all I've got here. We know Ben's kids will be okay since they have their mother's stability. At one point Jlo posted a pic of her son cuddled up on Ben's lap. He seems shy and sensitive. I don't think Marc Anthony is very involved in their lives at all. So sad.
