Which songs are your favorite? There’s none that I’ve really caught me as on. Repeat type songs yet. But maybe I need to give it another try. I really don’t like the Miley song. As much as other people raved about it but I kind of like the daughter song.
NP. The album is a masterpiece. I'm not part of the BeyHive but I can't believe how well put together it is. My favorites are Most Wanted, just for fun, Daughter, alligator tears, and Levi's with post Malone.
I'm in awe.

And as for the ones endorsing her?......please!!! Country music is country music! And it doesn't come from wannabees. Just because you carry a lot of $ and your name is known DOES NOT mean you step across to my side of the sidewalk! Yuck!!!!
Dolly seems to like her just fine. Of course she's not Dolly Parton! She's her own person!
I quite liked the album actually and it was kind of definitely NOT a country album although a lot of country influences. The Miley song is great.
I just listened to Beyonce's version of "Jolene" and I don't like it. The lyrics are reworked to be empowering or threatening or something. Beyonce might've produced the best version of the song ever (and this song has been covered extensively) if she kept the lyrics as originally written. Whitney Houston covered "I Will Always Love You" and turned a beautiful song into a masterpiece. Beyonce missed an opportunity, imo.
It was so cringe and embarrassing. I'd kill my husband if he wrote a song about me cheating on him.
I mean the original song is about begging a woman not to come steal your husband so its not exactly a non cringe moment in any of its iterations

Dolly two years ago wanting Beyoncé to cover Jolene:
Dolly yesterday promoting Beyoncé’s cover of Jolene:
Everyone in Nashville knows Dolly is a flaming lib wanting approval and acceptance from all of Hollywood stardom. Yes, Dolly is talent and a legendary performer, but there's more to her than meets the eye, and it's not all good and nice. Just sayin.
We have finally identified the only person on the face of the earth that does not like Dolly right here on DC urban Mom’s.
No, she’s not a Lib. She does not support liberal politics. She does not support conservative politics.
She’s anti politics
She's a lib, you are so wrong. And I am not the only person in the world who does not care for her, there are plenty, and they are justified. You know what you know.

I know you said you don't listen to her, but did you actually listen to any of the songs in the linked article? They are not rap songs. Okay, maybe one of those songs can be considered a rap song, and it's a corny song off a soundtrack of a corny movie that she did that I bet nobody on DCUM even heard of. The other songs, at most might have a few lines of rap here and there mixed in with singing. She is not a rap artist.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:She's not a rap artist, she's R&B.Anonymous wrote:I don’t listen to rap and I’ve always assumed she’s more of a rap artist. I heard her sing on some Xmas show. What a great voice. Too bad it’s wasted on rap.
