Unfortunately they suffer from small penis syndrome and need to seek validation through the youth soccer league that their kid plays in

GA is not better than ECNL. We can debate which is better. But facts are facts. ECNL has historically sent more girls to the collegiate level than GA. For SYC it is certainly a boost that enhances opportunities as opposed to EDP, NCSL, etc. BUT, ECNL is still the premier league. Just look at the numbers. That can’t be disputed. That’s not to say that GA doesn’t send girls to the collegiate level to play, it’s just not as many.

Appreciate a POV, but not all feel that way. A club can not be everything to every player. It’s important to find the environment, Coach and program that meets your player’s need. SYC has been great for my child. Coaches are fantastic. I don’t care for coaches that talks to me or the parents too much. The focus should be on the players, not the parents. Thought I share an alternative perspective.

None of the SYC coaches are qualified coaches.

Please do not waste your energy with this club. The club is chaotic with lack of communication. There are no field space. You have four to five teams training at the same time. Often times the lower team will have late night practices.

Yep. Get used to it. Or play for a smaller club or not top team. SYC top team is generally intense starting young.
