Believe it or not I love my in laws but oh boy by day three of a visit I am ready to have my house back.

this nothing to don with you. she and your brother are probably working through some stuff and maybe even on the cusp of separating (or already have but haven't told anyone.)

So a woman who doesn’t roll out the red carpet for his husband’s sister (I mean, other than a clean home, free lodging, and clean linens) must be in want of a divorce?

I can't find the PP busting on her SIL for outsourcing, but oh my, that's some look. DH and I split up tasks when his family visits - I want them to be comfortable, etc. so I set up the beds, etc. When we visit them, I strip our bed (and the kids when that was necessary) and take it to the laundry room. If there is enough time, I run, dry, and fold the loads. I put the pull out back together as we crash in SiL's office and know she needs to get back to work soon after we leave.

When they visit, they leave the sheets and towels in a large wet mound in our attic, even though their kids are much older and definitely not a handful. They also leave dishes in the sink even though the dishwasher is RIGHT next to the sink. It never changes.
