She has the access and authority to demand that MPD's gestures not be empty, but that might lead to an arrest, and then dog-forbid a detention for the poor little attempted murderers. I don't think you're a plant. I think you are really bad at actual arguments because all you can do is engage with childish rhetoric that is inaccurate to the truth. You might get your fringe people but most people can see past that. Theres a certain corner of X where you all are parked and its probably for the best that you have each other.
Are you the one person left (outside of council members) who doesn’t recognize the crime crisis in DC even as it drops throughout the country?
The violent crime in DC makes Oakland (2nd highest increase) look tame in comparison.

Yet, as recently as 2018, I was regularly taking kids to lunch or dinner on the weekends at that location. I knew that drug dealers were around, but also that people minding their own business were generally safe. Because of the crime policies we’ve since enacted, everyone has a target on their back in the neighborhood.
You can feel that way, but most of us do not feel like we have targets on our back.

Went all the time in 2018. Didn’t have reason to in 2018 and then Covid. No chance I would go there now. It’s post-2020 when everything went to hell.
