Just drove by this. Found myself hoping for Trump to win for the first time so his National Park services appointees clear this out.
The Secretary of Interior is so focused on her performative indigenous posturing that she has lost sight of protecting the national perks, the Nation’s Crown Jewels and her department’s foremost mission.
When did Rock Creek become a National Park?
This 1,754 acre city park was officially authorized in 1890, making it the third national park to be designated by the federal government.

^. This. This guy is doing his deeds smack between 2D and Friendship Place. How much more ineffectual could these two organizations show themselves to be?

They should move the homeless from DC parklands to spacious parks out west.

Did you actually look at those numbers? They're even worse for Ward 3.
Ward 6 - Eastern HS: $17.6 million for 865 students = $20,347 per student.
Ward 3 - Jackson-Reed: $28.9 million for 2153 students = $13,423 per student.

Where are you getting your numbers from? I'm seeing CHEC and Wilson/JR as the lowest funded high schools:
https://dcpsbudget.ourdcschools.org/
If you look at elementary, Ward 6 is getting more, with 1/3 of the schools in Ward 6 having higher funding than the highest funded school in Ward 3.
