The door thing drives me nuts. I moved to Ashburn a few years ago and people walking ahead of you won't even hold the door for you. I regularly go to the USPS or UPS with a heavy load of packages and people walking in ahead of me won't even hold the door. Men are the worst. I am the birch who will thank you loudly for not holding the door for me. It is so uncivilized and low. People who try to cut in line when there are long lines at the grocery store. It is always men. I will always speak up. Some have tried to ignore me.

The irony here is that you and your "girls" are not even going to be best friends for more than the next 2-3 years and your kids won't even remember one another's names by middle school. And eventually your "littles" won't be little anymore -- they'll be tweens with acne who will not, under any circumstances, wear coordinating outfits with you. And you will hear a woman refer to her 2 yr old as a "little" and your eyes will start to twitch at how dumb she sounds, and you'll think "oh my god, grow up!" But you'll have no one to say it to because you haven't seen your "girls" since y'all hit 40 and one of you got divorced and the other one doesn't go out since she stopped drinking to address her thyroid issue, and the last one moved back to Indiana to be closer to family now that the kids are school age and there's no time for shopping trips and brunch.

People who don’t want to have interesting conversations about tv, movies, music, art, but instead just want to have their taste validated and congratulated.

Also, people who take everything personally, and get defensive about any criticism, even something as benign as “I don’t like the tv show you like.”

Gender reveals are not appropriate anymore. Gender assigned at birth might not be accurate.

People who refer to their dogs as rescues instead of dogs are irritating. I've had many cats and dogs in my adult life, all of them from animal shelters or stray cats who needed homes. So I'm all about adopting pets. But why the need to always remind everyone your dog is a "rescue" dog?

I just read a review for a self serve dog wash. "This place is amazing. I brought my new rescue and my other rescue and both rescues are nice and clean now! This is a pic of my rescues! "
