The fact that they have managed to get the principal out by bullying the system is sad. The IS is also to blame because as a first year principal, his boss was never in the school except three or four times this school year. Does he know any students' names? Does he care? No. He is just kowtowing to this white, privileged, bigoted clan of parents who need to worry about issues such that the school is old and should be modernized like other DCPS schools. Seeing how mean and ruthless these parents can be has me seeing them in a different light. There are ways of doing things. This was not it. Why is everything so secret? Why can't those parents who led the charge identify themselves? Are you afraid of the backlash and repercussions? Sad.

The idea that parents are just supposed to accept that “all middle schools are violent” is wishful thinking. It’s not going to fly. Before you spput off about white parents, let me assure you that DCPS takes advantage of working class black families because they don’t have the same organizing resources.

This is terrible. Really bad news for Hardy. Who is listening to the staff and students? Is it true the teachers will walk out? How do we support the staff?

But they seem to want us to believe that Hardy went from a school steadily improving in outcome and reputation, to a school with really unhappy parents, for no reason at all having to do with the leadership. That seems … hard to believe.
I'm not sure what's up with parents, who are not employed at the school, are not evaluated by the school, and are not paid by DCPS, thinking that they control HR and our school. That seems...hard to believe
Since you seem to be unclear on the concept, I’ll explain. Parents are key stakeholders in schools, and they have a lot of influence.
You all got your privates fondled bc furby wants MacArthur to have a strong start, but I'm untouchable to you clowns. You can change leaders as much as you want but I'm still there letting your kids know how you Karen your way through their education
Please, keep on showing us what a great educator you are.

Has it not occurred to you that DCPS may not have been satisfied with how Hardy's year was going either?

Teacher troll here - I don’t think the PTO realized how much this has upset my staff as a whole. This whole thing happened behind our backs and moved at the speed of light. We are shocked and angry. So yea, pardon us if we lash out in an online forum that continues to perpetuate lies.
If anyone from the PTO is here - might as well cancel that happy hour next week. We want nothing to do with y’all.

Hardy also has a few teachers that are dismal and really need to go.
And I think we know what the dismal ones are doing tonight.
LOL thanks education expert. How long could you hang in a room of 33 twelve year olds? You wouldn’t last an hour.
With capable administrators, you would rarely have 33 students in a class.
