I need a supportive footbed and I really like Taos when I need something a little more stylish than my usual Birks or Tevas.
Are you 80?
Seriously. On what planet are these stylist for anyone other than a 70-80 year old grandmother from Palm Beach.
I'm going to knock my head into a wall.
Seriously though, how old are you?
These sandals are the definition of "middle age woman who has given up".
I didn't realize there was an age limit to being on DCUM. Perhaps you'd feel better on "hot young things whose feet never hurt!" I think that's a real rip roarer of a board.
And it's middle aged, not middle age.
FWIW I go speak at a college class once a year, and the kids there were all wearing sandals like the ones in this thread. So for all you know, hot young thing, we're all 20.

DP. I have a pair of Vince sandals -- these:

...and they are gloriously comfortable, more so than a lot of flat shoes I own. I love love love them! If the pair the PP linked is what you had in mind, give them a try, OP.
Me again...I have the cappuccino color.

Hey, PP, if you were between sizes, would you go up or down in these? It looks as if they only come in whole sizes.

Anonymous wrote:OP again, again-- I think what I really want this year is a walkable sandal, with a back strap and arch support, with a 1-2 inch heel or wedge, in a soft metallic or neutral that kinda disappears on the foot. (You know what I mean? Does that make sense?) The t-strap thing isn't that big of a deal. Again, thank you for all the responses! I wish I could wear many of these suggestions.
