Subject: Should Chap Peterson be worried?
Democrats had control of the State Senate and Gerrymandered that themselves.
They had to cut a deal with McDonnell after he vetoed the original map. The map that ended up being implemented passed with a large bipartisan majority.

To be fair the old State Senate Districts were a severe Democrat Gerrymander so when a Independent Commission redraws them they're going to change significantly.

The Old House Districts were a Republican Gerrymander as they had control of that branch, but Democrats had control of the State Senate and Gerrymandered that themselves.

To be fair the old State Senate Districts were a severe Democrat Gerrymander so when a Independent Commission redraws them they're going to change significantly.

It’s actually more fair. The Republicans had wonky districting to steal some seats.
