Dumb take. The only Indiana school clearly better than IU is Notre Dame. IU and Purdue are peers. Each excels in different areas. Purdue is the clear winner for engineering, but sure as hell not for business.
As for LACs, DePauw and Wabash come to mind as offering a high quality education, and they might be a better fit for certain students, but they don't "outrank" IU.
That said, every school I just named is miles ahead of JMU.
