So what? The constitution is a living document. The scotus fanatics who are destroying precedent just make up standards as they go along. For example, the majority completely threw out its so-called originalist standard as soon as the Colorado case regarding Trump being on the ballot came up.

That’s because there’s nothing to any of this logic but what the American Nazis want and they don’t need things like “precedent” or “standing” or “logic.” They want women back in the home without rights. I think it would literally be like the late 1800s/early 1900s in terms of what women would be allowed to do outside the home: a very few token women in business, politics, medicine, science, etc but mostly just poor women working outside the home. This has been the subtext to their “make america great again” nonsense. The they consider the gains of women and minorities to the detriment of American men, and in their definition only White men are truly America.

That’s an idiotic argument. We also can’t find “cars,” “Christmas,” “cell phones,” “Viagra” or a host of other words.
The reason “ABORTION” isn’t in the document is because the idea that the government would tell a family what they can or cannot do (or, at that time, would tell a man to do with his family) is anathema. But here comes the speculum of the GOP.

The GOP put the justices on the Sup Ct to overturn Roe, which they then did. And after that the GOP went hog wild banning abortion in every state they had their little fingers in. This was a 50 year project of Republicans. I feel pretty comfortable identifying Republicans as the ones who took away women's rights.
And now they will face the consequences on election day. Can't come soon enough.
Will they, though? There are a whole lot of people out there that would rather their pregnant daughter die of sepsis than vote for a Democrat. Apparently the migrant Mexican Muslim transfemme caravans are now invading the border.
