She’s 75! She looks like a 75 year old who hasn’t been obsessive about skin care or staying out of the sun, and who’s holding on to a somewhat dated hairstyle. But she’s also 75 and I feel like people are forgetting that.
The 75 year old women I know do not look this old. Sorry, they just don't.
DP. In some of those pics, she looks better and in others she doesn't. But she looks similar to my mother who is 76. My mother carries some extra weight that gives her face life and fullness. Camila does too.
Camila looks good. Like a healthy 75 year old woman.
Your mother is not a Royal with all of the beauty treatments, procedures, expensive creams. etc. available to her. And a woman who smoked for 30 years in no way looks healthy.

She's always looked 10+ years older because her makeup is hopelessly outdated even for someone of her age. It's like Estee Lauder counter in the late 80s bad. She kinda got away with it when she actually was young, but it was always crappy and aging. Ringing your eyes in black liner is harsh. She's look much, much, much better if she ditched the black liner undereye and garish blush.
Better than Meghan's raging smoky eyes and seventeen layers of mascara scratching her hat brim.
Here is Kate rocking the mourning look through the car window again.
I generally think kate is beautiful but she looks really cold and mean in this pic, like an ice maiden. Not a flattering pic of her at all.
She’s at a funeral. I think she looked gorgeous.
You can see the spots and freckling on her chest from overtanning.

I'm sure he's scared out of his mind. He's almost King. Holy crap.
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:This thread really emphasizes how much opinions about beauty are cultural. I think Kate looks old and cold in that picture. Nothing attractive about her at all. Don't know if it's the thin lips or what. But she is completely unattractive to me.
She doesn't look approachable in that picture, I agree, but she looks beautiful. It's a funeral, so I don't expect to see her looking warm.

Also, on Kate—I wonder if she has stomach issues. I know a lot of women who develop stomach issues like IBS or food intolerances in their 30s and end up on restricted diets, cutting dairy or wheat or fats. Most of the very thin middle aged women I know fall into this category—they eat healthy but can’t eat a lot of the yummy foods that keep some padding kn the rest of us or they end up with intestinal distress. The other really thin women I know are distance runners.
A lot of disordered eaters make up sensitivities and allergies, too. I think it is fair to assume Kate is on a very restrictive diet.
Maybe, but now that I’m 50, I am utterly shocked at the number of older white women who get raging diarrhea or gas if they eat what I consider a normal diet. I eat gluten, dairy, sugar, meat, everything and I used o assume all these women were partially anorexic until I saw it happening to friends and family that used to be right with me on the brownie sundae train. I don’t know if it’s a genetic susceptibility on the Northern European gene line or what. I’ve also noticed on the metro a number of women n their 40s who have just horrific gas, and I assume they have the same problem. So now when I see a woman in her 40s/50s that has lost a lot of weight, I tend to think gastro issues, not eating disorder.
