The article is not about an interview with the J6 committee. It is about an interview with the DHS IG. Apparently the DHS IG cannot subpoena private persons to testify.

The DHS IG is a trump loyalist. He would never do anything to harm trump,

What disturbs me about Ornato is how he worked at the White House for Trump for a short time and then went back to the Secret Service to train people. If that continued for a long time, what would happen? I did wonder if Trump would try to mess with Obama’s detail, especially since the Kushner detail (who were not allowed to use bathrooms at the Kushner’s house) made a mess of the Obama bathroom.

I am very much appreciating this quiet housecleaning of the Secret Service.
