So, it's not okay to require proof of residency and citizenship to register in Red states? That is what you are saying. Sorry, but the Dem bill is not sufficient. It allows a "work around" which eliminates the need for proof.
Uh, everyone has to have proof of residency to vote in an election. There is a difference between showing that proof to be on the voter rolls, and having an ID card when you show up to vote.
I am in DC and when I went to vote - nobody asked me for any ID. Total lie on your part. Heaven forbids we protect voting by requiring IDs! No integrity.
+1. I OFFERED my ID in DC and the person told me immediately to put it away. They didn't want it ever to look like someone was showing ID in a voting place. Can you imagine?
Thank you, Senator Sinema. You have just saved the country.
And yet, we don't experience fraud.
I doubt that. And unless you have evidence to back up your “there is never any fraud” I call BS. Now - before you go there - I don’t believe in 2020 stolen arguments - garbage at its lowest. But I don’t doubt there is fraud.

We will slip into a GOP tyanny of the Minority Autocracy if the GOP wins the House in 2022.
Pin this post, I would be more than happy to be proven wrong.

Post election audits show a 99%+ accuracy rate. So ya, there is basically no fraud regardless of whether you doubt it or not.

Oh no. Never. Never a shred of fraud anywhere. It’s all just perfect

Actually, they are reasonable questions and concerns. Also, many of these items aren't even a federal power.
There are all sorts of things Trump did that weren't in federal power yet you didn't give a lick about it then, first, and second, standardizing the types of IDs one can use to gain the ability to vote should be a good thing. Why do you think it is ok for gun licenses but not state issued student IDs?
Because a student ID doesn't establish proof of residency. If you go to college out of state, you aren't necessarily a resident of that state.
if you are going to college in that state, then you are living there, and thus a resident. Do you hear yourself?
Completely wrong.
