Thank you. These idiotic LWNJs have been throwing out their crazy opinions and unfounded prognostications of what a Youngkin administration will look like, but the reality is they have NO IDEA. Talk about shills and talking points. The only voucher Youngkin has actually mentioned is the one-time $500/student voucher to help mitigate Covid learning loss (tutors, etc). Nothing else has been formally proposed. They are Chicken Little blowhards whom no one should take seriously.

Understand about the voucher concerns, but there's probably nothing to worry about since Youngkin appears to be doing the old bait and switch to conservatives. Those education advisory names are probably just virtue signalling to conservatives. In reality, Youngkin has nominatted Aimee Guidera as his Secretary of Education. While Guidera is for charters, both her and the organization Guidera foudned (DQC) were part of the federal education coalition that strongly opposed federal vouchers. The last time the federal K-12 education bill was debated, Guidera strongly aligned with President Obama's education agenda and was most opposed to the pro-voucher elements within Congress. At the time, individuals such as Lindsey Burke were on the opposite side of Guidera on most education issues. If conservatives such as Burke had real influence, Guidera wouldn't have been chosen by Youngkin.
