I thought he looked sunburned which is understandable if he took guests out fishing or golfing.

He looks like most 50 year old men when they are doing things they have little interest in: mildly cranky, burnt out and slightly annoyed. Most 50 year old men don’t enjoy dressing up, getting drug all over Paris purse shopping in the summer heat while putting on a show for paparazzi. They want to relax with family and MAYBE friends in t shirt and shorts, have a beer and talk shop and sports.

Especially since one of Ben’s ancestors was a slave-owner, a discovery he tried to bury on PBS finding your ancestry documentary. Ben apologized for it, but I bet he is cringing to read People’s clueless descriptor.

It was designed and built (before Affleck bought it) to be “plantation style.” If he didn’t want the wedding to be labeled “plantation style”, maybe he shouldn’t have decided to hold the wedding on his “plantation style” estate a few miles from where his ancestors owned slaves.
