just watched the whole season and it's better than I expected.

I was hate watching it at first but it really grew on me.

I'm on Episode 6 now. I watched Ep 1 and 2 and was like, no thank you, but it's getting better the further in you get (that's what she said). The possibility of John Corbett coming back in Season 2 drew me in. Kristin Davis is too one note, but the writers did a good job with Charlotte in this. I found her pretty relatable re: what she was dealing with as a mom.

Miranda less so, but Cynthia Nixon is good and a bit more than what she was back in the day. I found the portrayal of her drinking problem unrealistic. I haven't seen the end of the season so can't say what I think of the resolution of her story with Che, but I surprised myself by not hating that storyline. I kind of think Che is a villain in the vein of Big.

Also more Sarita Choudhury - in everything. She is wonderful.

I could deal with a Che villain arc and then maybe Miranda could find a nice woman her own age who doesn’t make everyone cringe.

Impossible when Miranda has always been the one to make everyone cringe. It's Miranda, not anyone else.

I like Sara Ramirez as Che, just not with Miranda. Tried too hard to insert sex somewhere to make up for Catrell’s absence. Real life LGBT Nixon just ain’t it. The kitchen scene was not sexy at all, even though it was intentional. I feel Samantha’s absence more than I would Miranda. I hope the text exchange between Carrie/Samantha develops next season.

Her character was so one dimensional and just basically consisted of one liners. She wasn’t real. Don’t miss her at all and it’s unlikely the other characters, especially Charlotte (prim and proper) would have actually been friends with someone like Samantha. I see why Kim Catrall wouldn’t want to reprise that character, plus she’s too old and wouldn’t be considered a sex symbol anymore.

It's not weird that there are no lawsuits or investigations. It was a long time ago and details as presented by the accuser are the sort that are hard to prove when the case is fresh and events are fresh in the minds of witnesses. Plus coming out to tell your story years later is one thing, getting embroiled in a court case is another thing.

People can decide for themselves if they believe the allegations. The only thing that happened to Noth is Peloton dropped that ad and his name had a negative association for a while. He'll work again, and he's already successful and rich. Nothing really happened and they never intended the reboot to feature Big -- they wanted it to be about a second act for Carrie on her own from the jump. Their dynamic is dull when there's no conflict, and they've already explored all the conflict those characters could possibly have.

It's not a very good show, so you're not missing much in avoiding it, but this is the dumbest possible reason not to watch. Chris Noth is living his best life right now and this show has done nothing but good things for him over the years.

They need to put this thing out of its misery
