Top Prospects camp is a good learning camp. Despite the title, it is not a showcase. Lots of game time, lots of fundamental work. You have to apply, but shouldn't be a problem if your son's coach puts in the recommendation. My son went last year, him and his friends were wiped by the end of the week. Lots of reps.

Probably none. I doubt if NESCAC coaches have the budget or the time to attend these events.

We had two sons who were aggressively recruited by Williams and Amherst and some other NESCAC schools and it certainly wasn't due to any camps they attended. It was due, I think, in large measure to the input they received from their alums who had seen them play locally and from opposing coaches they had a relationship with.

These are very small coaching staffs these schools.n They would much prefer to see game films.

NE Top 150 is a great summer experience for kids interested in D3. Kids are coached by D3 coaches for a couple of days. No parents are there watching, as it is a camp not a showcase. But coaches are watching, Summer after sophomore year is probably the right time.

If your kid plans to go D3 to a Nescac what showcases should he go to and when should he start goin to them.

D3 lacrosse showcase in NJ in January (indoor). Worth it?

Little weird someone has the time to post anything they disagree with is weird or comes from weirdos. Lacrosse has a lot of problems. Hopefully they get fixed.

It's a terrible sport for the kids. After the summer I pushed my younger kids to try another sport in the fall. They loved it and will continue. Nothing is worse than lacrosse for an average boy who just wants to play a sport. Club lacrosse is the lowest common denominator of all youth sports.

Maybe they don't have the time, resources, manpower, etc. to deal with multiple teams per grade. Maybe some of these are non-profits with guys who have primary jobs other than lacrosse.

Lacrosse is just a mercenary business to many clubs, but not to all.
