The federal government. Is this where you start hand wringing about federal debt? If it is, I’m sure you’d agree it would be better to end Trump’s $4.5 trillion tax cut for the super rich passed earlier this year, yes?

Where does the federal government get the money to pay for the subsidies?

Maybe Trump will direct us to the tariff shelf

Where does the federal government get the money to pay for the subsidies?

Ask your fourth grade social studies teacher.

How about you just answer the question?

Why can’t they use the billions of DOGE savings???

Is this sarcasm? What savings? DOGE ended up costing the government billions.

Yes, I’m sorry, it was sarcasm.

Narrator: there are no DOGE savings.

From taxpayers. Same people paying $40 bn for an Argentina bailout. Billions more for another farmer bailout. $4.5 trillion for another tax cut for billionaires.

I’d prefer for people to have health insurance. Sounds like you have different priorities.

DP, I'll answer it. They just go deeper and deeper into debt. Why does nobody ever ask where the federal government gets the money to pay for tax cuts for the wealthy?

Let’s start by undoing the $4.5 trillion tax cut if you’re so concerned.

We need to tax the wealthy and big corporations more and get rid of many of the loopholes.

Shift money from DoD. Lockheed Martin and the other defense contractors can take a pay cut. We need to shift money to investing in our citizens. The military industrial complex is over funded.

As a Democrat I have no problem with this plan.

I don't either. Republicans don't want government services.
