I don't think the poster who posted the update looks stupid, and I am "overeducated" by anyone's definition. The good and annoying (at the same time) thing about this site is that people will post minutiae updates about any topics under the sun. If I am curious, I will click on the post and get the latest without having to do a separate search. If I am not interested, I don't click. It's pretty easy and the choice is in your hands.

Being educated might not make people resourceful or infuse them with the smarts it takes to use "google" as is apparent by the stupid stuff people ask here that they can look up online.
