I also thought it was funny when Wendy commented that Candiace's mother looked better than her at the party. Her mom really did look good.

I thought she looked like a wise old woman who wanted everyone ELSE to go to bed so she could play dice.
Agree with the PP who stated that Candiace is more like her mother's housewife. She gets belittled, shamed and supported by her mother, so yes- your assessment is correct.
You sound like a truly unpleasant person.

I’d like her better if she would stop yapping about her degrees and being a professor and news commentator. She is quite full of herself.
I think calling herself a professor there is a stretch. She wasn't tenured and there is no way they would let her do this show if she were on the tenure track. I think she had already left.
I'm a former student of hers. She is still a professor at Hopkins, teaching I believe two classes right now. She's an assistant professor, so yes, not tenured. For the record, she was one of the best professors I had at Hopkins.
Also, I'm sure that the producers want her to be talking about the academia angle.

Honestly, I hate to say this, but when I saw the attorney Candiance hired from Atlanta, I thought, is that the best she could get? No one in DC? He was NO match for A. Scott Bolden in DC.
D.C. attorneys are expensive!
Her mother probably wouldn't foot the bill. She doesn't have a job and her husband has 3 kids to pay for. Shes such a phony. Rumor has it she refused to meet up with Monique to discuss so Monique could apologize. She wanted cash...

How is RHOP not a job?

Yeah, okay...
