We have won 16 games, lost 1, and tied 4 games since I’ve been the coach. How am I terrible?

They had a similar record last year with a different coach, correct?

Why do you think winning games when coaching little kids is how to best measure whether someone is a "good coach"? Just curious.

Trolls are a trollin'. Since you have no problem calling out a coach (completely unjustified by the way), why don't you let everyone know who you are??? Must feel pretty safe behind your keyboard.

Trey - you are just fine. Good for you for sticking with this club! It hasn't always been easy to do.

You sound bitter, maybe have your kid try a different sport?

Why? Just because a club/coach is bad doesn't mean a player that played there is bad.

And then sucker parents accept top and second team offers for their kid from second team all the way down to fifth team players. It's very common at Valor.

Spoiler: if your kid is on a bottom team any other club offering you first or second team just wants your money.

Is that 2013 boys? That’s a very good team. I would not say they are typical of Valor. Lots of natural athletes in that group who train and play with a lot of intensity. They would probably be good no matter who coaches. Look at age groups with less natural talent and you can see the coaching problems.

Agreed. Most clubs have outlier teams and it's normally specific age groups that are just bad because the coaching isn't good so the talent doesn't carry the team.
