At least the fog is being lifted according to that tweet.

90% of people are okay with abortion being legal in at least some circumstances but no way in heck do one out of three people think abortion should be legal at any point in a pregnancy term and for any reason. Insanity is believing no abortion should be legal and insanity is also believing full-term abortions should be legal in any and every circumstance. Sorry, the nut-jobs don't win this argument.

Please name a single instance of a voluntary/elective late term abortion.

You can't, because it doesn't happen.

The only time women get late terms abortions are when their lives are at risk, or the fetus is no longer viable. Period. End of story.

You are misreading the pp. They are saying only fringe nut jobs believe abortions should never be legal or that abortions should always, i.e., at 9 months, be legal. They are also saying 90% of us believe in access to abortion.

Yes, thank you for clarifying my pp for the confused person. My primary point was how a solid majority of Americans were content with abortion law parameters as set forth by R v W yet the noise from the fringes leads many to believe the majority of us have fringe conservative or progressive abortion law beliefs that fall outside of the parameters set forth by R v W.

Just as with most long-standing political issues and debates, the majority of us aren't as divided as we're led to believe.

Stop your effing anti-woman b.s.
There are no "full-term abortions." NONE.

Trump tried, during the campaign, to claim that babies were being aborted after they were born!!!

Abortion is a medical procedure that's necessary at times to save the life of a woman. It is not a method of birth control, nor should it be, yet there are women who need it, and it should be available to them.

I agree. I will go further. Surgical abortions are physically dangerous and psychologically traumatic procedures. They are done only when there is no other choice. The safest abortions are medication-induced before the 10th week of pregnacy, the earliest being by far the safest. The immense majority of pill-based abortions are not used as a primary method of birth control.

This whole right-wing excitement over abortions is a fabricated panic made to brainwash religious/conservative women into supporting a political agenda that is detrimental to their well-being.

I think a lot of people know that people who blather on about 9 month abortions are nut jobs.

As are the people who think no abortion should be legal under any circumstances. 90% of us fortunately fall in between the nutjobs but the squeaky idiot nutjobs make all the noise.

You do understand that “90% of people” and “one out of three people” are entirely different things, right?

If you have a poll that says this, please share it. Otherwise your argument amounts to “my feelings mean more than actual data.”

+1 Adding that the poll above, shared by an anti-choicer, was commissioned by the Knights of Columbus.
