I think it’s a little weird she will attend, but good to smooth things over I suppose. And she’s probably well over him at this point.

As much as I enjoyed the series I am now so over all of these people and have no plans to watch the wedding tomorrow night.

The fun was in the process. No one cares about them now.

Quite the opposite! Stop measuring people who have lived 7 decades by the standard of a 25 yr old who hasn't lived long enough to have some bumps and bruises in their past. Guess what?! If you live long enough, you are going to have some "less desirable" episodes. Guess what else?! Theresa and her husband went through bankruptcy! The scandal! That's the thing -- -by the time you hit 60 or 70, you aren't looking for someone who is perfect. You are looking for someone who accepts you as you are and who is good company! If Gerry found that in Theresa, and Theresa found that in Gerry, then all the dirt and back story doesn't matter! What we have right now is two people who were both single, who found each other, and who are happy!

In addition to that, the people who know both of them (i.e. Faith, Susan, etc. etc.) are happy for them and don't hold any grudges. Not sure why any of us in greater USA have standing or reasons to hold grudges or criticize either one of them at this point. They are happy. Yay. If you don't like them ... don't watch!

Wait, what? Isn't Theresa supposed to be a highly trained financial expert, who just happened to develop this natural talent at an early age?

She's not that good at financial stuff after all? Huh.

Her husband's occupation was not mentioned in his obituary. Like Gerry, he does not seem to have set the world on fire professionally. So, that's not new to her. He also had a serious health condition, we don't know for how long. No one, including her, claimed Theresa was some kind of financial whiz but it is impressive she landed a solid job in finance after being a SAHM half of her life. She just retired as a compliance officer, was probably making low 6 figures with good benefits. Probably made more than Gerry and his wife put together. Not shabby by any means. I've always thought she was reasonably comfortable but not wealthy per se.

I don't know about that, but sure, we can call it that way now if you like.

How many times on this thread do you have to announce that you are 72? We get it. You hate them both, but you still like to post at 5 a.m. and you'll be watching the wedding just so you can trash them. Nice "character."

I’m 73 my husband died at 65. I would never tell anybody that I just met or anybody that they were the love of my life after I just spent 50 years with a spouse and had children and had a life together. that speaks volumes.
And to think people are defending him.

Okay, now I might watch! I love Susan.

Re Treesuh being the love of Gerry's life, he allegedly cheated on Toni throughout their marriage.

I thought for sure that Susan would be the back-up officiant. Jesse Palmer's wife is due to deliver like RIGHT NOW. So, Susan was the obvious choice for a back up. I like her alot, but it does seem less posh/famous/Bachelor-ish if Jesse isn't the officiant. I'm sure Susan will do a good job as she has experience.

Best wishes to all.
