Mamdani’s pro-Palestinian views drive 83% of his voters, progressive group’s poll shows
Zohran Mamdani’s advocacy for Palestinians was a motivating factor for most of the New Yorkers who voted for him in the mayoral primary, new polling from a progressive research group suggests.
Maybe because people were impressed he was willing to speak the truth and not kiss ass to a country committing a genocide. Hot tip. Many Jewish New Yorkers voted for him too. They’re sick of the ultra religious pushing people around as well.
Interesting that this was the case in such a heavily Jewish city.

We all know how the defunded police departments in DC will not prosecute all the criminals who clean out drug stores and grocery stores in poor areas.
This is how Mamdani will further drive out small business owners in New York.
The irony is a large majority of the business owners in the food and beverage industry and taxi industry in New York are Muslim men who literally rely on their business to take care of their family here and abroad. Now, they have to fear losing to city grocery stores, free city buses, and an uptick of deaths of their family breadwinners just because this airhead wants to decriminalize pickpocketting and stabbing /crimes. Not good.
Ain't nobody decriminalizing nuttin' in 2025. The entire world witnessed the negative impact of wrist slapping years ago and we ain't going back. Turn off the Fox News and tune into reality.
Trust me I’m not a Fox News watcher. I’m a minority myself.
Once people get one thing for free, they think everything should be free..
You would think more giveaways reduces crime but it has the opposite effect.

The reason people are afraid of Mamdani is because one of his policies might work

The Yemeni American Merchants Association, one of the largest NYC food and Bev small business owners in the city endorsed Brad Lander, the Jewish candidate and rabbi, for mayor last month.
Thank you for sharing these facts. Mamdani is a great actor, but a complete fraud, all of a sudden kissing up to cops.
He’s fooling no one. His run is done!
Well, I wouldn’t be so sure. He has lots of momentum with young people and energized young first time voters to go to the polls. That’s no small feat. His young coalition is also diverse and consists of white, POC, and LGBT along with momentum among transplants and NY natives under 35.
I see an Obama effect here. People want to vote for him because of his race moreso than his ideas.
Business owners tend to skew older and represent a smaller subsection of voters.

No where in NYC is there a food desert.
