If by private you mean the top 10 teams or so then yes. But after that there are plenty of publics that can beat the rest of the privates. There are plenty of mediocre to terrible privates.

10. Riverside (1-): The Leesburg public school power had a great win over 2X defending VA Class 6 State Champion Madison in Overtime last week. Riverside plays St. Albans today which will be an interesting game to follow.
STA was much better in every facet of the game today.
