If they are using her Apple Watch, it wouldn’t connect with her pacemaker until she was in range, so randomly pinging it before tonight wouldn’t really have been helpful.

I am not sure it is that easy. Look how long the video took.
I worked for a defense company and I have to imagine this is feasible. It is amazing what we do. Maybe someone on here in the field can comment.

I saw on CNN they were looking into properties owned by the guy. Hopefully they are taking the watch there and trying to ping it. Fingers crossed!!!
