Most New Yorkers will not support empty shelves taxpayer financed grocery stores.

No where in NYC is there a food desert.

Personally, Im super excited for NYC to have a conservative mayor. The City is desperate for some sane, MAGA-friendly leadership that will right the ship before it sinks down the same hole as so many of our nation’s failing cities like LA, DC, and Chicago.

I am amazed with comments like "we are broke" and "it's socialism" if we fund social welfare such as healthcare, education, and universal income. There is $800 billion budget going for defense spending, when the next big spender China spends $200 billion.

We are a rich nation with huge resources available, only if we chose to direct the spending to what's important. Voters and public in this country is stupid, that's why polititians are able to sell things like we have no money to spend on welfare or it's socialism if we do.

Just taking 25% of the huge defense budget will allow funding basic low cost healthcare for all, and basic low cost free college for all. We can also do basic universal income for all with some of the money.

There's more than enough, a whole lot more than most other countries. Still we say we are broke or we will go broke. Shame on the public for believing such stupidity and getting fooled.

Right now we’re mostly funding the military and billionaire/corporatewelfare programs. Mamdani is actively trying to repair that.
