To clarify, how many 2029 girls?

3-5 from DC area, I believe, including 2 standouts (pretty impressive). I wonder who advocated for them (M&D?). Newly-minted Capital girls will have to navigate conflicts with practice for next year's event, and Capital won't weigh in on nominations.

There are some very good academic options available outside the top 25. Arguably more so than on the men's side.

Womens RPI ranking 5/25/25:
26 Harvard
28 Brown
30 Cornell
31 Notre Dame
35 USC
53 Georgetown
58 Vanderbilt
64 BU
80 Columbia

Men's 25+
35 Penn
39 Brown

Three of the women’s D1 programs above are top 25 - keep up.

Ok, you got me! I clearly stated this was RPI and included the reference link. Are you adding anything of substance to this thread or just salt?

Well you keep making references to polls that mean absolutely nothing so I’m here for you.

Wins & losses in the context of strength of opponent mean nothing? Please tell us whether we should worship the AP or coaches poll. LOL.

Maybe because those rankings don't conform to any sense of reality? RPI listed Syracuse as the #1 team last year when the team didn't even make the national championship. RPI ranked NW third this year when it lost to BC in the national championship. See where I'm going with this?

Plenty of teams with high RPI rankings that aren't part of the NCAA tourney discussion smart guy. Why is that? Hmmm ...

Because more than half (15 of 29) of the playoff slots are awarded automatically to conference champions. In some cases, complete joke conferences.

Robert Morris (RPI 96), LIU (78) and Mt. St. Mary's (60) made the playoffs this way, crowding out some very good teams.

I'm happy to be your smart guy any time!

Were you celebrating Syracuse's RPI achievement as the number one team in 2024? If you did I'd feel so unbelievably embarrassed for you.
+1000
I am so glad we have you keeping things real. The Ivy League should get more bids to the tournament especially on the boys side. It’s one of the hardest leagues.
