Disney has wiped out references and depictions of alligators and crocodiles from its storied attractions at the Magic Kingdom in Florida in the weeks after a 2-year-old was killed in an attack at a resort, according to reports.

The Miami Herald reported that cartoon alligators and crocodiles have been removed from shows and parades, and a popular one-liner warning parents to watch their children or “the crocodiles will” is no longer told on the Jungle Cruise ride at the Magic Kingdom.

Walt Disney World Resort Vice President Jacquee Wahler confirmed to The Washington Post on Thursday that the company “made changes out of respect for the family.”

“We did this two weeks ago immediately following the incident,” she said via email.

Uh-huh. Sorry Dumb Disney: you're a-gonna get sued.

They know dumbass. You can stop drooling over some Disney downfall that isn't going to happen. They will pay a huge settlement, that will still be the equivalent of a rounding error on their balance sheet, and when I go back next my hotel room, my food, and my park tickets will STILL cost more than last year and I'll still have trouble getting the FastPasses and dining reservations I want. Disney will endure, much to your dismay.

They'll be passing their 300 million "rounding error" onto the cost of your amenities, vacation man.

Wrongful death lawsuits (even in the case of gross negligence which I think is legally debatable here) are nowhere near that. Not even a 10th of that.

I care about Justice. You care about corporate America.

New poster to this thread (!). Who is not a Disney fan. There is no justice in this case. A family lost their child. There's NO dollar amount that would create any semblance of "justice."

I wonder how this will impact workers, like character actors jobs.

The need to have clear warning signs for people and not ban aligator characters.

I am confident that Disney already charges the maximum that the market allows, this won't change it.
