Everyone was hating on robo and now look what happened, remember number 17 for robinson, an absolute dawg. No little boy on madison will be able to keep up with #17 or #8 on the rams, just too good and really transcend the standards set for an ELITE lacrosse player.

Robo 17 Woodson 5, #17 slanged the hammer for Robo, rocking #7 on the opposing team. McLean parent by the way.

McLean was really impressive last night. Played hard, aggressive and loose and didn't seem intimidated at all. Their d-poles really locked down YT's strong attack guys and their middies were aggressive in between the boxes causing turnovers and getting ground balls. They won't be an easy out for Madison on Friday by any means.

But I thought that Yorktown had this superman freshman attack that was going to win POY. What did he do to off set the Mclean D?

Not a Yorktown parent but just looked at MaxPreps states. That freshman had 39 goals and 29 assists and probably outscored all but one player on whatever team you support. He outscored the next closest freshman by 30 points. I wouldn't give him too much grief. He's probably 15 years old and still one of the best players around.

Video game stats vs weaker opponent's!! Feed the ball to a good kid against a weak team and he can rack up points. Yorktown struggled to score over 10 team goals vs quality competition.

Now you just sound like an ignorant hater. 4 goals and an assist against The Heights, 3 goals and 3 assists against Broadneck, 3 goals and 1 assist in each game against Langley, 2 goals and 3 assists against McLean....

he is an excellent player, but he is building a reputation as a trash talker, so he should expect to hear stuff whenever things go badly for Yorktown and/or for him personally.

I don’t know anything about that. But saying someone can’t score in the big game when he’s averaging three goals and two assists in his big games is a pretty lame burn.

Yorktown’s and Langley’s playoff exodus simply underscores the age old adage, “Any given Sunday.” It is undeniable that both teams had talented players and great coaches. To suggest otherwise would be ludicrous.

Looking forward to seeing some more great lacrosse.

37 is legit don't listen to the haters. Even if you are his parent you should be proud. The kid played under control, found space and is a very good distributor. He'll be tough moving forward.

No Yorktown just posts all the stats on Maxpreps…

Yep. Not affiliated with the team at all. Just don’t like people bashing kids - especially when they are actually performing.
