I mean, the whole role is massively problematic. It's not like casting an Asian actor is going to fix the fact that the entire part is an offensive Asian stereotype.

Yes and no. Terrible, yes, but that whole movie was a damn train wreck. The only reason my sister and I stayed is because one of our teachers was on a date a few rows in front of us and we wanted to see how THAT would end.

Maybe when there’s remake of I Love Lucy. But NK was cast in a behind the scenes snapshot that focuses more on Lucille Ball’s real life relationship with Dezi, hence the title Being The Ricardos. Lucy Arnez has said NK was perfectly cast.
