Wasn't there something years ago that Edward would get the DoE title once it reverts to the Crown? So once Charles ascends after QEII death, Edward gets it? Or does this supersede that notion?

Going without Meghan will help him talk to William alone. It could be a chance for the brothers to smooth some things over. They were very close to their grandfather.
Please. Harry has given no indication that he wants to reconcile with William. He seems completely done with him and barely mentions him at all. Meanwhile William just leaked some story about how he cut off some journalist he was friends with because the journalist was also friends with Harry. Their relationship is DOA. You know what they say “daughter for life, son until he has a wife.”
Well Harry has acted like the entitled brat, Meghan is the absolute worst but on the upside I don't see their marriage lasting, and I think she had more reasons to move back to the U.S. Probably thinking about child custody laws etc. That Oprah interview didn't make them look good or their marriage.

Well, he did have friends and family members who were Nazis before the War. My guess is that he was the type who didn't mind the Nazis in the 1930s so long as they were only killing/repressing people in Germany and central Europe. There were lots of British and Americans in that group -- so long as the Nazis stayed in Central Europe, there were many people that would have been basically okay with that. Invading France and bombing London was a different story.

No. William is in line for the throne, a working royal, doing his duty. His brother left, he's gone, done.

Then why so petty? If he's above it all, then he should act above it all.
Above it all? Why? He's mad at his brother. It's a normal reaction for anyone to have, when your brother publicly leaves the family.
He can have normal emotional reactions, but he should behave better, at least publicly. He's a grown up, not a toddler without emotional control. Leaking to the press about cutting off a reporter who is closer to his brother is just stupid. It's like middle school. Especially when he didn't cut off anyone who was unfair or racist toward Meghan.
