Except it happens a lot. See the above celebrity examples. If famous rich people who know their name will be on the headlines do this, you know there are a lot of run of the mill UMC dads doing it too.

Where else would the nanny be during the day? Also it's nice when one of the home owners makes themselves available to deal with their problems instead of leaving it for the nanny.

- picking up from the half day preschool
- dropping off from the half day pre school
- a play group
- the backyard
- the museums
- the dentist
- the dry cleaner
- on a walk with the dog

We had nannies for about ten years and most were young but very average looking. One time I hired a 50+ year old nanny who I interviewed over the phone and she sounded wonderful. When she arrived I discovered she was very hot with silver hair and a figure I envied. I guarantee my husband took notice! She was a very good nanny but only lasted a few months because she ended up having a very active social life with a number of men and her late nights often turned into early mornings and I could see she was going to be a problem so I let her go. So it's not always the young ones you need to worry about.

Yes. He needs a filter. Talking about someone other than his wife in a sexual way to others is inappropriate/bad judgment. Sure, he can find her attractive (after all, she is), but calling her “hot” ups the creep factor. That’s just not a way a married man should be talking about his nanny, nor is it the way an employer should be talking about his employee.


Easy with the pearl clutching Karen. Like uou’ve never said to a gf/friend “wow, that guy is hot” or “yummy” or something like that? Never once in your life? Not ever? Didn’t think so.

I would be upset if I were OP, too.

Our nanny was the same age as me, same height but had at least 40lbs on me. Wonderful nanny. I didn't purposefully look for someone who looked that way, but I would not have picked a hot looking nanny.

Agree with all of this, except there is nothing the man did that was wrong. He merely commented that his nanny was hot to a friend. Not to the nanny. He didn't create a hostile work environment. This whole scenario is just women tearing each other down for their looks


A man sexually objectified a household employee, locker talked about her with a neighbor, and you are blaming the women for pointing out how inappropriate that is? He did do something wrong, and it probably will cause her to lose her job. The problem here is that you can't seem to understand that.
