I've been thin (size 0 or 2) forever, from my teens to my current age, 40, sometimes obsessively so. yoga, exercies, diet, -- i am very aware of all these things. I love the way i look in clothes, always have a partner, etc.
But this thread is making me think that maybe I actually *can* eat a burger now and then, maybe inch up to a size 4, and still be lovable? I asked my husband and he said his upper limit is "i have to be able to pick you up." but he also agreed that indeed that is a lower limit beyond which you are so thin you no longer look that attractive.
mind blown. this is not a joke. I am honestly eating a bit more now after reading this thread.

Most men (not all) are not as obsessed with women being thin as women are. Women like to be skinny to impress other women. Men do not generally find skinny to be sexually attractive.
I’ve never been fat but, within the normal BMI range, men consistently and noticeably find me more attractive at a higher weight.
This.
“You shouldn’t eat that. Your butt won’t fit into size 2 jeans”
- Said no straight man ever.

Other than when I was pregnant, I’ve been the same weight since high school. 115 is normal for me. I eat a ton. I’m just very active. I’ll never be heavier than this. My husband seems ok with it given the obesity too often seen in women my age.
Presumably "normal weight" as in the normal weight range as designated by the government. You would probably be underweight, aka not that range
Considering OP mentions stomach fat I assume she means America "Normal" or overweight. The pp you are replying to is not underweight.
